Recognizing that the future is most likely to be AI-enabled, we have to prepare our youths and make them ready to compete and participate in the global economy.” He reiterated Nigeria’s commitment to leveraging technology to drive growth across micro-businesses, asserting, “I can assure you that Nigeria is open for business.”
Sir Nick Clegg, Meta’s President of Global Affairs, announced Meta’s plans to introduce a feature on its Instagram app in June 2024, enabling Nigerian creators to monetize their content. He expressed Meta’s eagerness to deepen partnerships with Nigeria, stating, “We have much to do with Nigeria to deepen partnerships.”
