Lady drags Pastor Ibiyeomie for demanding 20% of People’s Income As Offering after paying 10% for tithe (Video)

The video of a Nigerian woman criticizing famed Port Harcourt-based preacher Pastor David Ibiyeomie has sparked outrage on social media.

The woman, identified as Onyinyechi Blossom, rebuked Pastor Ibiyeomie for his recent sermons on tithes and offerings.

Blossom shared a video of Pastor Ibiyeomie explaining to his congregation the amount of their yearly paycheck they should contribute to the church as an offering.

According to Pastor Ibiyeomie, members of his congregation should give at least 20% of their earnings to the church monthly, surpassing their tithe.

In response, Onyinyechi called Pastor Ibiyeomie a wicked person disguised as a pastor, branding him as evil and lacking conscience. She questioned how an average Nigerian, who doesn’t earn much, can survive if they give away 30% of their earnings as tithes and offerings. The lady’s critique of Pastor Ibiyeomie’s video prompted various reactions on social media.

Some users condemned pastors for allegedly using psychology to exploit their members financially, while others defended Pastor Ibiyeomie, stating they are members of his church and have no complaints.

The comments showcased a range of opinions, from accusations of greed and manipulation to assertions of individual beliefs and freedoms.
