In a recent interview posted on Joy997fm’s official Instagram page, Nollywood actress Rita Dominic revealed that she faced a silent ban from the film business by a group of powerful marketers.

These marketers, once considered the mini-gods of the Nollywood industry, allegedly prevented her from working.

Rita explained, “Before I decided to become a producer and form our company, I was silently banned. I was banned from Nollywood silently by marketers because they were the mini-gods of Nollywood.”

She expressed that her ban stemmed from her desire to do things differently in the industry and her belief that it was important to communicate with an actor’s management when seeking their services.
