Yvonne Godwin, a reality star from Big Brother Titans, has stirred controversy by expressing her preference for dating a rich man who cheats over a faithful but financially struggling man.
During an appearance on the Big Friday Show with Tach on Cool FM, Lagos, Godwin stated that while cheating is not acceptable, she prioritizes financial stability in a relationship.
She emphasized, “I prefer dating a rich man that cheats on me to a faithful broke man.” According to her, money plays a crucial role in relationships, and being with a wealthy partner who apologizes for infidelity is preferable to enduring financial hardship alongside faithfulness.
Godwin acknowledged the importance of mutual respect in a relationship but argued that disrespect, especially when publicly displayed, is intolerable.
She stated that she values respect highly and would walk away from a relationship where disrespect becomes too frequent.

“Men are the same. You see that money? You can never take money out of relationship. I’m not saying it’s okay to cheat. Please, don’t cheat on me.
“You know the worst thing? When a broke man now cheats on you it’s like double suffering. So, I would rather stick to a rich guy that would apologise and keep it moving. But when the disrespect gets too much because I hates disrespect, especially when it’s on a public platform. I’m very big on respect. So if you disrespect me, I’m going to walk away.”
