Baltasar Ebang Engonga, head of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), has been implicated in a high-profile s3x scandal involving numerous women.
Leaked videos show Engonga in intimate acts with various women, including his brother’s wife, a cousin, and even the sister of Equatorial Guinea’s president. Social critic Martins Ortse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, brought these videos to public attention on his Instagram page.
The scandal emerged amid an ongoing fraud investigation, during which authorities reportedly found over 400 recordings on Engonga’s computer, showing encounters with multiple women—some of whom were married. These incidents allegedly took place in various settings such as his office, hotels, and restrooms, with all parties reportedly consenting to be filmed.
Equatorial Guinea’s history of sociocultural discrimination, especially toward women, underscores the gravity of this scandal. The country’s colonial past and authoritarian rule have contributed to ongoing marginalization and limited social visibility for many, particularly women.
