Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has called on Christians to stop judging and policing one another, emphasizing that many things considered “unholy” are not necessarily so.
He pointed out that Jesus, as a Nazarite, likely had long hair, and as a Jewish man, wore garments similar to a gown, challenging common assumptions about hair and clothing.
He also mentioned tattoos, lipstick, and music as examples of things that unnecessarily spark anger among religious individuals.
Pastor Okonkwo urged Christians to focus on the essential teachings of their faith rather than minor issues, and to cease from self-appointed “religious police work” that only leads to division and judgment.
Thank you sir for your advice
People need to learn how to judge things right
And focus on self righteousness
Judging is different from what differentiates us from the world is how we look, with all he has said Jesus wasn’t encouraging his disciples to dressed anyhow, why are we called christians in the first place we all we do can’t be moderate. It’s a shame we are losing it gradually
Very Good!
We need more of this so that all these Assistant Jesus will rest
Everyone with their view, let God judge.
This is good for those that condemn it ooh they should hear it.cause if the see anyone that plaits hair or with dreadlock they will speak nonsense.
I didn’t know that Jesus had a long hair o well it’s okay though
I don’t just understand what Christianity has turned to this days so because I am a Christian now I can dressed anyhow I like in as much as is outward look and God is only after my heart, Jesus should please come
The way people take this thing’s seriously en
Dem go con make person look bad
Individual has right to do whatever pleases dem
Religious people are so judgemental,
Jews put on garment which is gown as well so why are they forbidding it
Talking of the garment, most Christians misinterprete it
😂😂😂 actually people really needs to stop policing others and focus on the necessary things
Don’t impose your belief on others
The life of Christ is the important one not the tradition
Please tell them sir especially these overly religious people. Judge not so you won’t be judged. I prefer to read my bible judiciously and with the help of the Holy Spirit, I get a better understanding of the scriptures than these so called men of god
Much love and thanks for the advice
