“The Resident Pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, LFC, headquartered in Canaan Land, Ogun State, Pastor David Oyedepo Jr., emphasized that Nigeria is currently experiencing a season of distress and emphasized the need for assistance to guide the country back on track.
During the church’s third service, themed ‘Covenant Day of Fruitfulness’, Oyedepo Jr. encouraged Christians to seek refuge in covenant stewardship, drawing a parallel between a bag raised in a windy environment and an individual’s spiritual resilience.
He remarked, “If you raised an empty Ghana-must-go bag in a windy environment, it would fly away, but if you have a heavy substance in it, no matter the harsh wind, it would resist it. The same principle applies to an individual without covenant practice in Christ Jesus; such an individual would be affected by the wind of current hardship.”
Meanwhile, the Presiding Bishop of the Church, Dr. David Oyedepo, urged Christians to extend help to the less fortunate amidst the economic challenges. He revealed the establishment of several Kingdom Care outlets to support the needy through the Winners Satellite Fellowship (WSF) across Nigeria, reiterating, “If your vehicle breaks down on the highway, it is not a matter of shame to ask for help. It is not a sign of weakness to seek assistance when needed.”
