The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company has announced a reduction in electricity tariffs for Band A customers, effective May 6, 2024.
According to a memo posted on the company’s official social media account, the kilowatt-hour (kWh) tariff for Band A customers has been reduced from ₦225 to ₦206.80.
The company stated that the reduction applies only to Band A customers, who can expect a guaranteed 20-24 hours of daily power supply. The tariffs for customers in Bands B, C, D, and E will remain unchanged.
The memo read, “Dear Esteemed Customers, please be informed of the downward tariff review of our Band A feeders from ₦225/kWh to ₦206.80/kWh effective May 6, 2024, with guaranteed availability of 20-24 hours supply daily. The tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E remains unchanged.”
