Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao has revealed that she kept her 21-year-old son, Ayomide Daniel, off social media to avoid stigma and protect her chances of finding a partner.
In an interview with Seun Oloketuyi, Eniola shared that she made the decision to keep her son private even before entering the movie industry, fearing that being a single mother would impact her relationships and career.
Eniola explained, “I worried that no man would want to marry me with a child, so I decided to keep it private.”
She kept her son’s existence hidden until recently, when she felt the need to set the record straight after being perceived as a “young girl” by her colleagues.
In a separate interview, Doris Simeon shared her experience working menial jobs in the United States to make ends meet. She expressed no shame in taking on these roles, stating, “I have lost count of menial jobs I have done in America… I am currently working for the government as a social worker.”

Being a single mother can be hard but the good part is that she’s doing well now
For me that’s the best thing she has done by not bringing a lot of attention to herself
Its well with her… Being a single mum can be hard, buh i don’t feel the need for her to do that… A man will truly love her for who she is
To be open about being a single mother is better than trying to cover it up because the partner you’re trying to hide it from will eventually find out
I just love the fact that she kept him all this while
The world is cruel to single mothers and it’s even better to keep your private life off the media.
In other ways , she was ashamed of her son
