Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), has issued a stern warning to internet fraudsters, commonly known as “Yahoo Boys,” stating that their chosen path leads only to bitterness and ruin.
He admonished them to stop their illegal activities, such as stealing people’s ATM card details, and instead engage with the law of sowing and reaping, seedtime and harvest, and giving and receiving.
According to Tribune, Bishop Oyedepo emphasized that playing games with people’s lives has no future in the kingdom and urged them to desist from their illegal trade.
He encouraged them to embrace the law of sowing and reaping cheerfully, willingly, and tirelessly, promising that they will begin to lay up gold with time.
The rise of Yahoo Yahoo culture in Nigeria has been fueled by socioeconomic factors such as high unemployment rates and a lack of economic opportunities.
Bishop Oyedepo’s warning serves as a reminder that illegal activities only lead to destruction and bitterness, and that engaging with the law of sowing and reaping can bring prosperity and success.
The earlier the better they learn… Some parents are not even helping matters cus they already see it as do or die
Make God help everybody 🙏
Because the way things are going on in Nigeria and the economy itself….
I just hope they listen to him and stop what they are doing. The earlier the better
The rate at which yahoo boys are plenty in Nigeria is very alarming
May God touch there heart
You can’t really blame them when our so called politicians are doing worse, when they start killing people for stealing in government everything will resets itself
He that has ears, let him listen!
I was present on Sunday when bishop gave this sermon and it’s spirit filled
Some of them are driven by the harsh economic state into this illegal act but it doesn’t justify what they are doing. Something that is wrong is wrong, I hope they listen.
