British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua is gearing up for a highly anticipated showdown against Cameroonian Francis Ngannou in Friday’s ‘Knockout Chaos’ event in Saudi Arabia. Ahead of the bout, Joshua weighed in 20lbs lighter than his opponent, Ngannou.
Joshua, who tipped the scales at 251lbs before his victory over Otto Wallin in December, registered a weight of 252.4lbs during the weigh-in on Thursday. On the other hand, Ngannou maintained his weight at 272.6lbs, consistent with his weight for his previous fight against the Gypsy King in October.
Despite his defeat via split decision against Tyson Fury last year, Ngannou is determined to secure a victory in the boxing ring against Joshua on Friday night. With both fighters in prime physical condition, fans are eagerly anticipating what promises to be an electrifying clash between two heavyweight contenders.
Much love to him can’t wait
