The Falconets, defending champions of the African Games women’s title, are set to continue their defense against Senegal at the Cape Coast Stadium on Monday.
After defeating Morocco 2-0 in their opening fixture, Chris Danjuma’s side aims to secure their passage into the semi-finals with at least a draw from this game.
Senegal will be playing their first game in the competition, stepping in following Cameroon’s withdrawal from the African Games 2023.
Meanwhile, in Group A, hosts Ghana will face Tanzania on Tuesday, while Uganda and Ethiopia will compete at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The encounter between Falconets and Senegal will kick off at 9pm Nigerian time.
