Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is set to move out of his £8.5 million family residence in Barcelona after separating from his wife, Cristina Serra, concluding their 30-year relationship.
The couple, who have three adult children—Maria (24), Marius (22), and Valentina (17)—have reportedly been living apart since 2019. Cristina returned to Barcelona to manage her family’s fashion business, while Guardiola remained in Manchester due to his coaching commitments.
Their Barcelona property, previously owned by footballer Rafa Márquez, is located in an exclusive neighborhood and features a large swimming pool, occupying over 22,000 square feet. Guardiola purchased the mansion in 2021 and has used it as a retreat during breaks from his professional duties.
Despite the separation, sources indicate that Guardiola and Serra maintain a cordial relationship, with no third parties involved in their decision to part ways. The family was seen together in Barcelona during the recent Christmas holidays, suggesting an amicable split.
Guardiola is expected to continue residing in his £2.7 million residence in Salford while managing Manchester City. The couple’s children are anticipated to pursue their individual endeavors in modeling, business, and education.
